Spell Track by:
Tool Factory. Provides spelling practice from a large bank of word
lists. After a student listens to a word and sees its printed form, he

of randomly selected letters to track the word he just saw and

asked to type the entire word. Audio recording may be replayed as many

The Sentence Master by:
Laureate Learning Systems. This program is designed to help students
who are at risk of
failing to learn to read due to difficulties in phonics and oral
language. It focuses on the 150 commonly used non-content words in the
English language, which make up almost half of the text on any page and
are major determiners of meaning. By teaching these words, the Sentence
Master gives the learner control over half of any page he or she will
ever encounter. The Sentence Master is divided into 4 levels. At each
level, sentence structures and stories become more complex. Each level
of The Sentence Master contains: 40 to 70 new words; 8 animated
computer stories; 8 story booklets with writing and comprehnsion
exercises.

with Level 1 and continue through Levels 2, 3 and 4.
Inspiration by:
Inspiration Software. Students who struggle with writing may need help
visually organizing their ideas, thoughts and facts. Diagram view
creates a concept map showing how ideas relate. Outline view takes
concepts and sets up a hierarchical structure. Outlines can be exported
